Piero Canepa gives a Pint of Science talk on sodium batteries in Houston
On May 15th, 2024, Piero Canepa gave an invited talk, “Moving Beyond Lithium-ion Batteries: the Rise of the Sodium Rechargeable Battery”, at Pint of Science in Houston, at True Anomaly Brewing Co. Pint of Science is a festival that brings researchers to pubs and bars to share their work with the public.
The talk explained why sodium batteries are a promising, more sustainable alternative to lithium-ion batteries, and how our research on batteries helps design them.
