Our first day at Purdue University
Today, November 2nd, 2026, is our first day at Purdue University, where the Canepa Research Lab is now part of the School of Mechanical Engineering, as announced in September.
The photo shows the sun of the Visiting Our Solar System (VOSS) model, on South Martin Jischke Drive: a scale model of the solar system, in which the sun is about 45 feet across and Earth about six inches. It is dedicated to Janice Voss, a Purdue alumna and the university’s first female astronaut, who spent 49 days in space over five missions.
We are looking for graduate students and postdocs to join us at Purdue: see Join our team.
